Your DIY Wedding Needs a coordinator

DIY weddings can save money but there are an overwhelming amount of details involved. Hiring a wedding coordinator/planner like myself can relieve some of the stress. Things I can help with:

  • BUDGETING. Having a planner to keep an eye on the budget and make recommendations is helpful.

  • SOURCING VENDORS. Couples may lack expertise in certain areas, such as floral arrangements or even legalities associated with weddings. A planner may not be the expert with something but will likely know someone who is.

  • SETTING UP DECOR. If you’re getting married at your home, or say, your parents’ home, who is going to set up the tables, chairs, decor, place settings? I can tell you that it shouldn’t be you, and it won’t be the rental company. This is another place a planner can come in.

  • REDUCING STRESS. The emotional stress of planning a wedding can be intense, especially for DIY couples who are handling everything themselves. Let me take some of the tasks off of your plate so you can deal with the family dynamics at play.

  • MANAGING YOUR DAY. From setting up the venue to managing timelines and ensuring smooth transitions, the logistics of a DIY wedding can be intricate and there isn’t a venue coordinator to fall back on.
