I just want to show you what a timeline could look like if you…did a first look, the ceremony and reception are in the same place, and the ceremony is non denominational. Now with all of that in mind, here’s the very basic of all timelines.
9:00 Gather to start getting ready with hair and makeup
2:00 First Look, family and wedding party photos
3:30 Couple needs to be hidden away before ceremony
3:50 Wedding party lines up
4:00 Ceremony
4:30-5:30 Cocktail Hour
5:30 Guests are seated for dinner
5:45 Introductions into reception
6:00 Formal dances
6:15 Speeches
6:30 Buffet opens
7:15 Private cake cutting
7:30 Dessert is available and dance floor opens
9:25 Private last dance while guests are gathering for couple’s exit
9:30 Reception is over
